The "Periplo" range of machines undertakes stretch film cold wrapping.
This type of packaging is carried out by wrapping the pallet along its sides with several layers of film which overlap upwards and then downwards.
There is a choice of programmes according to the type of product to be packed, by which it is possible to predetermine the number of wraps, the height of the wrapping spiral and the height of the overlap and therefore the amount of film used and the cost of the packaging itself.
For many years now the packing of palletized products using stretch film is considered the best method of protecting the load, as it not only ensures a certain compactness of the same and the secure positioning of the same to the pallet, but it also helps to protect its surfaces.
The best packaging performance is obtained by inserting a top covering sheet over the film covering which ensures a good degree of protection against the elements and the risk of theft.
The "Periplo" range consists of automatic wrappers with rotating arm or ring and either with or without upper sheet positioner, rotating turntable wrapping machines with or without upper sheet positioner.
